ABOUT: Our Team

Jack’s first animations took place on his father’s books, where he would scribble flipbook shorts in the margins, filling each corner to capacity. He later completed his degree at the Memphis College of Art, where an exchange with the San Francisco Art Institute convinced Jack to move west. In 1996, he became Senior Designer at the Bay Area firm DesignSite, where he mainly focused on print design and illustration…soon landing a spot in Print Magazine’s Design Annual. With the advent of digital video, his work soon evolved full circle to animation and motion graphics. In 2000 he moved to New York where he completed Food, an award-winning animated film shown on PBS and at festivals worldwide. His work has been seen most everywhere there is a television, with spots for MTV, VH1, ABC, NBC, HBO, the Style Network and the Discovery Channel, as well as featured in The New York Times, Print Magazine, Wired and Newsweek.

Melissa Martin Julien
Floral Stylist

Melissa has an educational background in art, interior design and carpentry. She founded a creative party planning business in her home town of North Carolina in 2004 before relocating to New York in 2010 to develop her skills in the event industry. Melissa works within our styling team and specializes in crafting and floral design.

Kimmy Crosby
Style and Media Consultant

Kimmy grew up in Park City, Utah, surrounded by world-class skiing and the annual Sundance Film Festival. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in American Studies, she began her career with the prominent Salt Lake City interior design firm Harman Wilde. Her aesthetic sensitivities developed further while working at bridal gown line Maggie Sottero, where she also gained a comprehensive understanding of the wedding industry. By the time she came to New York in 2007 she was a perfect fit for the Matthew Robbins Design team.
